Since the magazine "Rundschau für den Lebensmittelhandel" launched the Grips&Co competition, the annual cult event for junior staff, HR specialists and brand industry has been taking place for almost 40 years. Two days of concentrated information, exciting quizzes, tastings and stimulating discussions. Written tests and pre-selections take place in the retail companies. There are four qualification levels. The award of the winner is a guarantee that the career is now really picking up speed. The winner also becomes a quality ambassador, gains interesting insights into the quality assurance of fresh food and passes this knowledge on for a year.

At the point of sale, customers can only buy what they see. This is the motto of POS TUNING from Bad Salzuflen, the solution provider for optimised product presentation at the point of sale for almost all product categories.
The POS T Pizza presenter now complements the solutions for chilled products. Herewith convenience pizza can be presented in the most optimal way.

Previously, the product could only be presented in lying position. Thus, the product was neither visible to the shopper nor could he find the type he was looking for. Various studies have shown that this often leads to a cancellation of the purchase.
With the Pizza Presenter from POS TUNING, the convenience pizza can now be presented upright in the chilled area. In addition, a permanent front presentation is guaranteed by an automatic pushfeed system. The product is always perfectly visible and it is an easy orientation for the shopper.

The POS TUNING Pizza Presenter is compatible with the POS T C90 pushfeed system, which can be used in the entire product category. The complete chilled area thus has an optimised, clear appearance thanks to automated pushfeed systems.


POS TUNING as jury member at VriesVers award ceremony 2019 in Holland

On 13 June 2019, the popular awards of the VriesVers election 2019 were presented. The stores with the most beautiful deep-freeze department won. Coop Nijmegen and a branch of Albert Heijn were honoured. The best products of the year were also honoured. New Forrest with Kwekkeboom Oven & Airfryer Old Amsterdam Bitterballen won the race in the category Best A Brand.

Changing how chilled pizzas are displayed

Barry Patel from Nisa Marsh Farm about the importance of a optimized pizza presentation:

“If you don’t share ideas and best practice, you become stagnant in your environment. We network with a lot of other Nisa retailers in Luton, including Scott Jell, who runs a store in Lewsey Farm. We get an idea of how other stores work and how they merchandise things.

“Myself and Scott both sell chilled pizzas, but I wasn’t able to sell many and he was selling loads, so I looked at what he was doing. I then merchandised my chiller so that they were front-facing like his, rather than stacked on top of one another. Pizza sales went up 25-30% as a result.”

2019 posconnect Foto HeinrichOliver Voßhenrich and Heinrich Kreuder have been at the "POS Connect" trade fair in Munich from 12th to 13th of March 2019. There they presented "THE intelligent shelf" and the neoalto Retail Service Cloud. In addition to the leading market experts, the retail trade fair "POS Connect" presented solutions and products for the digitization of stationary retail on the 1,000 sqm of experience world space.
